2022 GCSAA Conference and Trade Show

After a two-year hiatus, the golf course management sector reunited at the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) Conference and Trade Show in San Diego from February 8-10. The landscape has significantly evolved during the last couple of years. 

     • Golf is experiencing a resurgence as a favored sport.

     • Emerging technologies are thriving

     • Yet, the role of the golf course superintendent has never been more demanding.

For these reasons it was incredibly important for Bayer to bring their A game to the conference. They contracted HLK for the task and I was put in charge of concepting and creating the visuals for the event.

When we presented our final concepts to the client we also included this writeup:

The overarching theme is a clubhouse where superintendents can come and refresh so that they can maintain their edge.

We partnered with the company "Flyaway Geese" to create an amazing opportunity for a giveaway. One lucky winner was going to win a full trained "goose dog" to assist in keeping pests away from their course.

There were many smaller pieces that we included as part of the trade show. An exclusive magazine published for the event, playing cards and custom pool balls to name a few.
